yesterday i decided to replace all my rear light globes, so i replaced them all, they all work fine, no probs. but whenever im driving and brake, i get the faulty light warning come up on the dash which is wierd, so i put something on the brake when i got home, the warning light came on, i went around to the back of the car and all the lights were working fine. the warning light doesnt seem to come up if i have my headlights are on. its not exactly a big problem but its just really annoying, any ideas guys?

Ive had this happen it was just a poor contact not from the globe but the contacts inside the globe holders. cleaned them up and pulled them out slightly and the warning light went away. Even 2 me they looked fine but wen u looked closer u could see 1 brake light was slightly dimmer. i think its coz its not grounded properly.

i had the same problem. both taillights were cracked and water got in so all the bulbs and connection rings were corroded. left taillight was really dim. bought new tail lights, all new bulbs and i completely replaced all 8 metal connection rings with new ones (took me 2 hours), the warning light went away and there both bright now. brand new second hand....
