alpine arent really high end. they best stuff is good for mainstream users but for any serious audiophile they dont usually cut the mustard.

Unless you buy the top end models... Same with Pioneer, their top end head unit is one of the best on the market.

Dunno, too many bells and whilstes for me! With all the R&D that goes into them they can work on building an external power supply to give the HU something like 30 Volts input power....then they might really make 50Wattsx4! My Nakamichi Headunit had one.....before I amped my speakers for Surround Sound.....It was majot butt kicking time with that internal amplifier.

Top end decks don't usually have internal amps...

When your talking about a unit that truly puts out 50x4 and is of better quality then pioneer, alpine and the likes....they certainly have internal amps.

I run Fusion everything and am pretty happy with it.

I put Pioneer because my HU is Pioneer and my front 4"s and rear 6x9"s are Pioneer, but the 2 12"s and 1000wrms amp is JL Audio, if JL was up there, I'd put it as my favorite.
