Mate we are providing facts, using first hand information, yet he continues to argue. If you dont like it, don't read it. Anyone who knows me knows i do not sugar coat anything, i say how i feel when i feel. It is frustrating when someone who has never owned one of these cars argues the point over and over again simply because a magazine says so. Sorry if that offends you. :)

IMO magazine tests are not worth the paper they are written on! The only way it is known for sure if one car is faster than another is to line them up side by side and race on the 1/4 mile, most magazines sugar coat certain models to make them sound better than what they really are. One magazine could have a race car driver test one car and another magazine could have a total amateur test another car and expect us to believe its a fair comparison. Not taking a stab at anyone here this is just my opinion!

dude...SV5000's only came out in auto......and they were a heavy car, over 1500kgs. Whoever thinks they ran a flat 14 in a stocko is full of it. Mine has extractors, exhaust and shift kit and has run a 14.6 which is pretty much the best you'd get out of a stocko.

Looks like lots of people on this forum are dreamers.....

My hairdresser ran mid 14's in his SV5000 and that was completely stock other than a sound system. In terms of power/performance there were no modifications what so ever. He sold it though and is now doing up a Valiant I believe.
