Hi, just a few basic questions. I bought a 2000 S VTII last week. However, it didn't come with an owner's manual. My questions are simply: How do I go about checking the wiper/transmission/brake fluids? Thanks in advance.
Wiper fluid is on the left side with a yellow cap. just un clip it and fill to correct level (on the side of the bottle but i just fill it up) Brake fluid is ontop of the brake booster on the back left. Unclip clips (front and back) be careful with spilling as it will eat paint. Once again fill to level but remember dont over fill as there is a plactic insert that goes under the cap. Tranny not to sure as i have a manual but i think its a red colour dip stick on the left or could be yellow. You have to unclip the lid (i think) and pull the dip stick out. Should be a red fluid. if its black/clearish thats engine oil. Hope this helps.
Also would prob be a good idea to go and buy yourself a gregorys manual from supercheap or repco has heaps of info in it and come in very handy for working on the car
