i'm looking at a rear bumper that has had, at some stage, the tailpipe melt a small, semicircular chunk out of the exhaust recess. as the rest of the bar is in good condition, could this be filled and repaired? the damage is about the diameter of a 50 cent coin...

VS Commodore 'S' pack.
Hi ringfeder,
I have done plastic welding and most of the time it can be repaired. Like everything it comes down to the cost factor.
Depending on the damage a little bog might be needed to level it and then it would have to be repainted.

Try to use bumper bar filler (has a Flexi additive).
would i need to use the same on my sailplane? Or will regular bog be ok?

Yeah its not bouncing or flexing like a bumper would. I will just use what i have, which is regular filler. Thanks EYY.
