Hi,

Can anyone recommend an aftermarket cartridge filter that fits the standard airbox on a v6 vr that makes a difference to the car?

Any airfilter cartridge you add won't make that mcuh, if any difference. I would recomend getting an air pod or cold air filter. I recomend you get an k&n filter if your still set on getting a new cartridge, l haven't heard of changing the filter to make an improvement though.

Thats not what I have been told...I've read all the glossy brochures on a lot of you beaut filters but the proof of the pudding is experience.
I have always used ryco or genuine filters.

Hi Mark,

I just took out my factory filter and put in a K&N filter, jast a panel, stright in the air box... it didn't make much of a noticable difference, I then put in an Aunger Cold air Intake which made a little bit of a difference.. Things seem to run smoother but not a great increase in power.. This was in my VT but it is the same concept...
