I have finally got my L's!!! I'm not sure how many people on this forum don't have a form of licence but i'm no longer one of them:w00t:. Aced the test and really pumped about it. I can finally legally drive:yeah:
I'm also curious as to how a 15 year old can muster up $33,000 to spend on a car. Which is a bloody nice car btw.
It's my parents technically but I drive it now. I'm buying a manual learner car and using the berlina for a P plate+ car. Because my mum got a new job that's just down the street, she doesn't need a car anymore and if she does, the nshe can use the manual. Pretty sweet deal:thumbsup:
Since when is a VY Berlina worth 33k? Btw, good to see you aced it mate, good luck with your road times.
Well done on the L's mate. Just dont be a ******** driver like alot of people out there. You make me feel old now, as of midnight tonight my P's expire and i become a fully licenced driver
Since that's what he claimed as his purchase price in the My Ride. It used to be worth near 40grand at some point too.
when u go for your p's dont get nervous...everybody does but when i look back at it...there's no point, if u fail u just try again the next week...and when u get your p's, don't go silly...i did and even tho nothing happened and i didnt get caught being an idiot, i still really regret some of the dumb stuff i did when i first started driving. so good luck and safe driving
And look after that car! I'm 22 and didn't get my first car till March this year, you are very lucky to have a car before you even had your L's and get such a decent car, so make sure you look after it.
Don't worry... much. I went out all day today driving, in the Hilux though (dad's car). For my first drive, I went pretty good. Main roads, peak hour (both morning and night), back roads, the lot. No dramas. God I love driving!!!:yeah:
yeah it is fun i remember the day i got my l's.. walked out and told my parents i passed and my old man gave me the keys to the 4wd and said drive home was a good day, and in no time you will be going for your p's, cant believe how quick it all went past
Congratulations mate:thumbsup: Well done on getting a good pass:thumbsup: Keep up your knowledge of the road rules; I found that the most difficult and dangerous spots for many drivers are Round-Abouts, both double and single lane plus merging traffic especially traffic that comes off a freeeway onto another road. Never ever expect that other drivers know the road rules. Drive to survive:thumbsup:
Best Piece of advice right their. Always be prepared that they arnt going to stop at the intersection or that the person in front of you is going to break. Always be alert for the worst and you will have no problems. AND dont be a lazy driver, i know we all tend to become lazy with time, but never sacrifice safety.
