hey , just wondering if it hard to pass a cable thur the firewall to connect my amp , do you have to take the dash apart to get to it ?? btw it a vz exec ute should be the same as a normal vz im aussuming?

if its an automatic u be ok just go through the grommet where the clutch woud have gone. if tis a manual i dunno....... lol

yer its a auto , so i wanna connect it to under my seat or passenger seat so if i push it thru there it will come out ? whereabouts lol sorry i dont no a whole bunch about it

if you dont know a whole bunch i suggest not doing it, get someone who does know how to.. there is plenty of ppl on here who installs stereo's where abouts are ya?

I installed an amp in my VZ and it was quite easy to find the firewall.

It helps if you have 2 people. I basically had one mate outside the car pushing onto the rubber grommit, while I had my hand as far up and behind the dash as I could to feel where the pressure was coming from.

Then all you need to do is poke a new hole and push the cable through :)

I Ran 0 gauge cable through that gromitt its a PITA to get out i had to pull it out to make allowences for 0 gauge but normal 4 gauge should fit thru it no problem at all your main wiring loom also runs through this
