Hey guys looking for some advice.

My girl is looking to get her first car, she's been looking at something small to mid sized, though leaning towards smaller. Been mostly looking at Toyota, Mazda and hyundai but open to other suggestions.

Her budget is $4000-$8000, auto, economical and reliable. Located in vic.

Any advice? Told her to get a commodore but she's not interested :blah blah:

My daughter just got a 2006 Renault scenic. Economical, auto, climate control, electric every thing, good visibility and about 6 million air bags.

Why do women need to be in a small car?

It just causes complications down the track when they need to drive the boyfriend/husbands/partners car and they bang on they can't drive it as it's too big.

Toughen the ladies up. I learnt to drive in a Chrysler Regal Wagon.

Yep, I pretty much agree with Tray - Corolla

My missus has a Mazda 121 - waaaaaaayyy to small for me and I would rather her be in something safer but for what it is, it did really well in crash tests. I'd recommend Mazda 323 or 3 if you can stretch or find one in your budget.
