I think it was Pennywise / Blink 182 late '95 or early '96 in a place called The Roxy in fortitude valley. Show ended in a riot/stage invasion which saw most of Pennywise's gear trashed. Watched some of it from being crushed against the barriers and then climbed up on top of the PA and watched the rest of the gig from there. Was a very good show.

Man your so lucky to see blink that long ago! Amazing how many small venues they played back in those days. You would have seen them in 1995 because they didnt tour here in 1996. Heres the 1995 tour dates if you happen to be interested:

Hmm. My first was Suzie Quatro at Leederville oval, Perth, about '71?... Went again when she played at Beatty Park pool, Perth, about 1973?.. Too long ago to remember exactly.

I went and saw Poison in Melb (I think about '89 or '90, can't remember the venue, Tennis Centre maybe?). I was still in primary school then. My brother's girlfriend couldn't go at the last minute so Mum told my brother to take me. I can't remember much, just that it was bloody loud and I bought a t-shirt on the way out, which I still have somewhere for memory sake.

silverchair and powderfinger in the "across the great divide tour" in brisbane, and best concert i've been to is bullet for my vallentine at the tivoli in brisbane too..was insane!
