A couple of members asked about this, so this is for @abuch47 and @Hq King .
VE/VF Redline ute's aren't fitted with spare wheels, just an inflation kit.
Holden don't have a 'ute suitable' spare wheel that will fit over Brembo's, and attach to the standard Holden ute spare wheel hoist.

But HSV do! I think Maloo spares are standard fitment on R8's, but an option on standard Maloo's.

My Maloo spends most of its time stored in the garage, as I tend to lose my licence when I drive it.
So my Magnum is my daily. Not too keen on the inflation kit, as I do a few long drives, so I wondered if I could swap everything over...
Removed the spare from the Maloo, removed 4 nuts attaching the winch, and basically, that's it.
The Maloo did have 5 rubber pads glued to the underside of the tray that the spare bears against when its locked in position. So, off to Bunnings, bought a small sheet of 3.2mm rubber and contact adhesive, and applied them to the Magnum.
The pics should explain everything, with the part numbers required. I expect buying everything from HSV would be horribly expensive, so wreckers may be the best source.

Generic HSV 20"x8.5" spare wheel.

Do you find it hard to remove a full size spare with the cover as well?

I have a 20x8 spare and the towbar makes it extremely hard to get out without jacking the car up. stock height as well.

The Magnum is still at factory ride height, the spare and tub slide out from underneath easily.
The Maloo has to be jacked to get it out, the rear bar is a lot deeper than the Holden rear bar.
When its lowered, more jacking required...
None of my utes have tow bars, but I expect it would be just like a Maloo with the deeper rear bar.
