I am looking to fit the VF2 Bimodal valves into my SV6 wagon. Is is a case of cutting the valves into the tips and wiring it up or is there other mods needed?

Are the HSV electric valves the same as the VF2 valves?

TLDR Version: find another option, eg Varex mufflers, or use aftermarket valves

you need to have a bi modal muffler for it to have any effect.
if you just take a standard muffler and put a bimodal valve on it then it will do nothing because a bimodal muffler has a straight through design(muffler delete) which is controlled by the valve.

the electronic valve actuators are the same(hsv,vf2)

info for a diy module, i would only cut them open if they are stuffed like mine were.

info to purchase a premade module to control the valves

Ultimate conversion wiring have a bimodal exhaust retrofit module. I was looking at getting that. Wired in it works line Varex, remote button open/close.

Ultimate conversion wiring conversion works ok as I have them on our WN Caprice V 6.0 ltr, sounded better after i replace the centre pipe from a Maloo ute. Had little trouble with them but now and then I have issue where the bi modals open by them self. Possibly interference by HV lines above one of our traffic lights. Need to test this to confirm it

Ive ordered the full DPE system and they are going to weld my current bimodal valves into the DPE system.
Are you saying it wont have any effect?

I have a Maloo with a DPE system, that came with vacuum bi modals.
The valves work very well cutting the noise down with standard DPE mufflers.

The mufflers you are getting need to be a bi modal design, if they are just standard mufflers then no adding a valve will do nothing.

I disagree with that, mine works well.
