Considering fitting a Nexus 7 Tablet into my VT Calais as a replacement for the stock double DIN head unit. Does anyone have any idea roughly how much effort this would involve/how much it would cost? Or is there anyone who has done the same or similar that could point me in the right direction?

Thanks to anybody who can contribute

Depends if U want it removable or OEM looking, both will take a bit of fabrication. Head over to mp3car.com and check thr worklogs threads. there are a few that have done it.

If you don't mind not having am/fm radio then the best way is to use fibreglass it in and then use a four channel amp to negate the need for a headunit still... but as ephect says... head over to that website to see your options.
