Will VZ SS or Z-series Senator projector headlights fit onto a VY SS? I understand the dimple in the bumper bar will still be there but will they fit? Or is it necessary to get some VY Senator projector headlights? Do wiring looms need to be changed also? Thanks.
I'm pretty sure that the shape of the VZ headlight is different to the VY, apart from just the dimple. I think the angle of the headlight near the grille is different. And unfortunately I think it's the same story with VY Senator headlights. They don't have the dimple and are a different shape. So I think you're pretty much stuffed. I mean you could do it, but it would involve also changing the grille and bar (and bonnet if you're changing to VZ). I've been interested to know for a while if you can put the insides from a VZ SS or VY HSV headlight into a VY SS headlight. That would solve the problem...
