Hey guys,

I have searched everywhere with no luck.

But i was wondering, when fitting a catback system for a vz sv6, is there anything specific i need to do
or is it just as easy as unbolting the old one and bolding the new one up??

I saw on some show that they used some sort of hardening paste to connect the rear part of the exhaust???

Yes, it is just as simple as unbolting the old and bolting on the new.

It is best to use an exhaust sealant on the rear join, and an O2 sensor safe sealant on the gaskets at the front.

Do you already have a system? If not, I can supply you with a twin 2 1/4" into single 3" that increases both performance and economy on the alloytecs.

Dual 2.5"? Too big, either single 2.5" or dual 2.25". Or what abba fan is offering, I've heard it make a good noise.

It's not overly loud, but not quiet either. It's deep and low at idle and then gets louder and higher pitched as the revs increase. Absolutely no drone either.

$495 shipped for the cat back.

Sorry i meant duel 2.25,

Anyway i bought the kit yesterday, i got the one with no rear muffler and i love it!!!!
Good sound, revs harder and smoother allround.

Now all i need is some extractors

It cost $340 from ebay for mandrel bent (over night from melb to ACT), not stainless though but it was painted with some "rust resistant" **** a bit of a wank..... anyway

But it has very little noice when cruizing and a really good note when accelerating.

Would highly reccomend A++

It is not noisy on the highway at all. And it is mandrel bent, but not available in stainless steel.
