Not good with auto electrics, if the cigarette lighter in a VR isnt working properly, whats the most likely cause besides the fuse?

Also need to get at the solenoids in the central locking, how do I do that?

Remove the door trim to access the door locking solenoids.

If not the fuse, could be a wire has broken off the soldered connection at the base of the lighter. Remove central plastic cover to access the base of the plug.

also found in your model, you can get a build up of Crap at the bottom of the Lighter holder, even more noticeable if it has been used to light smokes, can create a bad connection so it may seem like there is no power there
