The cruise control doesn't work on my 96 VS. I don't think the previous owner had it working for a while either.
I've since found that the grey wire had snapped off near the ignition barrel and have now soldered it.
I can now get the CRS light to come up on the dash. However I can't seem to get the cruise control to work (over 60km/h).
I guess its one of two things either the servo has seized due to lack of use or more likely there are other wires broken inside.
Is it possible to rewire the cruise control section of the indicator lever and clean the contacts? (it looks pretty sealed to me)
Can you also disconnect the indicator wiring to allow complete removal of the indicator lever? (much easier to rewire/solder outside the car)
any help would be great, thanks
