and i replaced the flexplate but the problem is i am having problems tightening the bolts on the flexplate they go in fine but they will not torque up to 90nm as it says in the manual they will tighten up to an extent than they just turn like its about to snap are these bolts torque to yield bolts
or am i losing my marbles

Hold up! Specs are 18-22nm + 73 degrees. Thats for the 8-bold S2 pattern. 6-bolt S1 pattern may be 90nm as they are bigger bolts.

I also highly recommend using new bolts.

yeah mate just take the old one to a bolt joint and get them to sort you out
Denuine ones are expensive
If you get them from a bolt joint make sure their matching tensile strength and use loctite on them.
