Hey guys, just done a service on the new trans and LSD i aquired 2 months back

The LSD i think i over filled and put 1.8-9 L in (1.7L required), It is leaking from the plug, could that be just due to the diff being overfilled or a worn plug??

Also the trans is leaking about 6inches behind the pan onto the cross member for the driveshaft.. Put 5L in although 4.8L required but when checking on dipstick it shows Add 0.5L
It also is more of a watery consistancy on the dipstick. Any ideas?

Cheers in advance

Your diff plug is likely to be worn or shrunk if its a rubber type. If its a threaded bolt type, then its likely missing a plug washer. Also remember automatic transmissions need their oil checked at operating temperature (not cold), with the car running in park. Also, always check the dipstick twice, in case you get an inaccurate reading the first time.
