I'm racing November 6th :p. Dunno what stage I'll be up to but a PB should be on the cards straight up either way. So that's excitable:), I should have a balancer puller during this week sometime so that's something

Jason, no need for a balancer puller on a 5 litre....:p

Just undo the big bolt and the balancer slides off. :D

i didnt need a puller, but it was still a bitch to remove the thing

yeah i used a lever, but it took a while. came off very slowly. guessing it had never been removed in 14 years

Stocky told me his was really tight so I figured I'll buy one before I do it, I don't want to be getting stuck half way, I don't own many tools :). Tim how is is the most simple way to undo the crank bolt (with just one person in a auto car without a impact driver)

socket and breaker bar under the chassis rail then crank the engine ver for a sec work everytime for me some would say it dodgey though

I think I'll need a impact styled socket to make it stay put if I do that?:) should be one of those around at dad's tho, I'll go and hunt for one tomorrow. Considering all the dodgy methods I think that's the least dodgy :)
