this is crazy, 355 power for 1/10th of the price. i'm REALLY interested in this, although i'm really interested in everything you do (to your car) :p

Yeah, I'm not a fan of having someone else work on your car. If I was still working somewhere with a mill I'd have a go at shaving the the heads myself but this time that will be a job for someone else. Apart from that I'll do everything as usual. I had to stay inside today but tomorrow I'll do another clyinder or two porting the heads :) might have some pictutes tomorrow for anyone interested

OK here's some pictures of porting so far, taken in the middle of the night with led torches so they appear rough when really are fairly smooth (smooth as they are going to go fresh off the grinding stone which is how I want them). Hopefully I wont go backwards :)

good thing you dont drink:p would cost you just as much in beer as it would to pay someone to do the porting for you.

did you get the heads crack tested first?

Nup stuff that, this is a budget job, there's no spare money for that kind of rubbish. I'll take my very highly likely good chance that they are all good to go :)

Compressor is fine it's a pretty big one. Doubt they are stuffed I never heard of a 5 litre having a broken head :) What do you want me to wrap the welders cable around them and crank it and look for cracks:p

Do about them what?, I haven't touched them yet but I'm not being too worried if I do since it's getting a valve grind anyway, but I wont touch them :) there's at least .000000001 mm between any grinding and the seat so far
