Has anyone bought a genuine fog light switch for their VX? how much did u pay?
Also, the VY headlight switch pulls out to turn on the fog lights. Are they the same size as the VT/X switches, and would I be able to use one of them in place of an extra switch for foglights, or would the wiring be different?

I think the switch was about 15-25 bux n the lights were around 250...

Don;t quote me on that caus its been a awhile since i've done mine...

You will have issues putting a VY switch in caus the connector and loom will be abit different....

    Hope that helps abit.

I'd like to know where you got your switch from mate cos i got quoted at $61;58 at holden last week.
The lights are too expensive to buy from holden. Im getting the genuine ones from a wholesaler in melbourne. I'm not looking forward to drilling the hole in the dash either.

    Cheers mate.
Bit off topic too, as i think i spoke to you before about if the wiring is there or not, but anyway. Someone told me to check the fuse box, and see if there is any terminals installed for a relay in between the 2 relays on the left hand side. There was one at the bottom, then a spare slot, and another relay above it. Forgive me but i can't remember which was which, but someone said if there was a terminal there for a relay then the wiring for the fog lights is there.
I did check it, and there was nothing installed. However, i looked at my cousins VUSS on the weekend, and he's obviously got the foglights already, but his fuse box also didn't have any relay there where i described above. It was also labelled as a spare. Could this mean i could still have the wiring there on my exec but im just not finding it??
