Footwell lighting

Im going to put the factory footwell lighting in my VF2 Redline sedan. I see the cut outs are already there for it but Im wondering if any one has done it before and where to wire it into and also looking for a picture of a factory footwell lighting, from a CalaisV or Caprice? Part numbers would be great if anyone has them too.

Not in my MY17 Redline, have to run wires.

I've done it in mine, with turquoise LEDs in a custom holder.

Wired to the rest of the interior lighting, it dims and turns off at the same rate as the door handle lighting.
from memory, positive is a yellow wire going into the door harness.

I Note my VF Redline has all the cut out sections. Including the door trims. Not sure about the wiring. I'll have to check mate.

Unfortunately our Redlines don't have the wiring as puddle lamps were not an option, I checked the CAD. But as we have all the cut outs, shouldn't be too hard to wire into the door lights.

Thanks. Oh well. Yeah I agree. It shouldn't be too hard. Doing this litlle project will inspire me to do the auto dimming rear view mirror at the same time.

@3rspecB is the puddle lamp loom a separate think loom we can buy or part of a bigger loom (much more expensive loom) within the Calais?
