Vk commodore, hq one tonner, hj ute,
hey guys im fairly new to justcommodores and electrical work and all that stuff
as i am only 16!

but more to the point, i want to wire footwell neons on the pasanger side..
i have a neon that goes into the cigarette socket thing but they look pretty tacky sticking out of them
so i brought a on/off switch with power accesory and earth.

it has a built in fuse thing in the middle of the wire,
and dad said just to leave that on and wire it to the car fuse box
i have this diagram someone put on this section a while back..

now i want to know how to wire it from the fuse box to the switch,
and then to the neon
(mostly how to wire it from the fuse box)
like will i only need one wire and the just wire a second for the earth straight from the swicth or what
i would spice the ciggy lighter but do i have to take the whole wire or just atach the other wire on?
any help would be great.

and sorry for my terrible spelling everyone.. :blah blah:

The negative can go any where on the body of the car. Do I ask why you don't want to wire it upto your existing interior lighting loom (switched) so you don't have to turn it on and off manually?

If you did in fact want to switch it manually I'd still wire to the lighting fuse. It'll just be a little more professional ;)
