    Just a heads up. Every time i tried to come on the forum today my antivirus has always redirected me to a safe page coz it has detected a trojan. Don't really know who to write to so hopefully this gets to the correct people.

    What is Anti-Virus?

    That thing that does no good but slows your PC down? Sounds like it just wants more attention to me.

    Forums works fine on my work machine, home desktop, phone and latop.

    Browser hijacker sounds like the likely cause.

    Well I mean the forums does have some viruses, but every time a mod bans him he makes another account.

    As already said above, this is not a JC forum issue, clearly your PC is infected, therefore the correct people in this case would be your local PC doctor or similar.

    well i went to a mate's house and had a look and the same thing happened. both computers i tried on (sister's and mate's) i used Mozilla. Right now i'm using Google Chrome on my own computer and have had no issues

    Did it occur to you that as mates/family you are sharing files/links/emails and therefore have infected each other?

    I used to have the same problem on my favourite gaming site, it would redirect me to some Netherlands website about some computer scan.

    I did a little research and I found out I had a browser hijacker and the the "free scan" that you have to download actually installs trackers and loggers.

    I didn't fall for it although it was a pain in the ass as no anti virus or spyware could detect the browser hijacker and it took me about a week of searching the internet for how to get rid of it.

    When i tried logging into JCs this morning (for the first time in ages), it came up with a "this site has been temporarily locked and you need to fill out a survey for our sponsors before going ahead" and had JCs forum locked and i couldn't get into it. I went into it a little but didn't put in any of jy info where it wanted it, so i got out and went in thru another link and it let me in.

    Tried it again after lunch (now) and it did the same thing again, this time i just hit the "back" button and it took me to the front JC screen where i sign in on........really weird.

    I am also having problems when getting linked to jc.It only happens when i do a google search and come up with a jc link(like if i do search for commodore vr transmissoin)it redirects me to a my file website.
