    Hi All
    Found this laying beside a power pole which was hit by a car, i got a habit of usually trying to find what type of car was involved in the crash.
    this one was interesting. Oh and the driver was drunk.

    Could be any model really.. Could of been VR/VS with HSV brake upgrade or something.. Not to sure exactly what model that specific one is off but the car is was one could of been a various models of commodores...

    And you know the driver was drunk just by the evidence there?

    Did the car get driven away from the scene or towed? IF he drove, I would imagine there will be gouge marks leading to where the car is

    Don't be fooled, it came off a Chev with HSV parts. Just like Commodore owners that put Chev badges on...

    Must have been one hell of an impact to rip off a caliper and damage the piston the way it has.

    Obviously from a genuine HSV, being driven at warp speed at the time of impact............

    If it ripped off the caliper.. He didn't drive away.. Probably got caught and booked.. Hence why the OP knows he was drunk?

    The story goes the caliper was in the boot of the car that hit the pole by a drunk driver that didnotstop - the chev badge saved it from massive damage.

    Just goes to show chev badge power can be wonderful.

    (note to BMW drivers - the chev badge power will NOT work on your car)
