It's not against the law if you have the correct fuel containers to store it in.. I send the apprentice in the ute once or twice a week to fill our 300L diesel fuel cell....

I think there's a big difference between storing large quantities of diesel and petrol.

Diesel isn't volatile. Petrol is a bomb looking for a fuse.

What about the 20L petrol jerry cans ? no limit on filling those up... i am talking about filling up at the servo not the appropriate storage facilities after the fact...

A petrol station cant be responsible for where you take the fuel.
