Clear indicators and grill will be getting ordered next fortnight when pay comes in.

Changed thermostat with an 82* thermostat couldn't be bothered with water pump haha,
All I need now is to flush the coolant and radiator , new radiator cap and heater tap.

Also the auto is slipping occasionally until it warms up so I might have a look at second hand gear box. :(

    Money spent already!?!

Keeping up with the Jones at least.

Are you taking the knock sensors out to flush it properly?

Money is being spent more for peace of mind and I got most of it pretty cheap.
Or do you mean my pay? If it is the later I still have money but I try to save more then I spend because 400 a week isn't much lol

Well they must have opened it up because there was 3 different gaskets which I would assume would be why it leaked a little.

Shall be very nice once better rims are on there. Plates look nice but I know it's me saying this the green doesn't suit white/grey
Are the taillights tinted or was it just condensation ? (see second last pic)

I know I need new rims haha these dont suit at all, and I agree with the number plates not matching but I guess it's more sentimental.

They are tinted I think, I would rather them be brighter rather than darker lol.
But they don't usually look that dark.

Looking real clean bro. It's got a lot of potential!

As for the numerous items you mentioned you may be changing, I just thought I'd add my opinion to see if you value any of it haha :)
Whilst I don't think Calais grills look as good in white VS' (compared with the other colours like silver, green, etc) they still would be a nice addition to yours if you wanted some on the cards. They aren't too hard to come by but they're pricey for what really is just a piece of cosmetic plastic :p

as for the colour change on the plates whatever suits you, don't change just because others don't like it! If you really were thinking about changing, white on black/black on white looks decent.

Interceptors would look more pleasant than your current rims, but then again it's a calais. You should go take a look at and perhaps consider some WH Caprice rims or even the stock S2 Calais ones polished! They look classy and tidy!

Either way dude, it's a good find/swap you made!

I still vote doritos, but you can pick up some decent deals sometimes if you want to go for stockies. This set, with the hubcaps, I won for 200 bucks on fleabay with near new Bridgestone Turanza ER30s on them.

Maybe not a long term choice but they will keep you safe and legal in the short term without breaking the bank and they dont look too bad. A lot better than the mags you have now IMO.

And sometimes a little paint can be just as effective as chrome... I so want to get back to finishing this thing but I am not allowed off my fat arse for at least another month they tell me. Heart attacks suck.
