2007 Holden Caprice WM Series - V8
I recently purchased 2007 Holden Caprice - V8 from Sydney. Lovely car and I'm really enjoying the V8 on country roads. Anyways, with the recent rains I just noticed today that my driver front door is full of water inside - I can hear it when opening and closing the door. When I wave it a bit of water comes but plenty remains inside. Any advice on:
-how to get the water out?
-shouldn't there be a drainage hole somewhere?
-are the seals on the door gone which is the reason why water is getting in?
Thank you in advance for your advice - it is much appreciated.

Open the door and look underneath to see if it has drain holes. If it does poke a wire in the hole and unblock them.

Have a look under the door, there are usually 2 holes/slots where the water runs out but they do get full of crud over time.
You may have to remove the door trim to clean out the door inner.
Water just about always gets in through the top so don't worry about it too much.

As the others have said, the drain holes are blocked.
Might be time to remove the door card and clean any of the crud out.
And check the outer weathershields to make sure they are working.

Thanks much mate - yeah, I pulled down the rubber seal from the bottom of the door and the drain holes were blocked with mud...all sorted - cheers!
