Ok , noticed a slight rattle in the front end when going over bumps. I have read a few threads on this subject but still not sure if it could be the strut tops or sway bar bushes / linkages. I did notice that when i go over speed humps or around a corner it doesn't do it. Only seems to do it when one side or the other goes over a bump .

as it getting worse.

I might start by replacing swaybar bushes as the bar seems to have a bit of play ,and links as they are the cheapest and then do the strut tops.

Let us know how you go. I might have to get a mechanic to do the strut tops,I'm getting too old to play cars .

Might be time to get under the car with a small pry bar, and inspect what moves.

Strut tops make more of a squeaky sound when turning don’t they? My ve has the same annoying noise as yours too mate I’m thinking it’s likely the swaybar links but as you said do the sway bar bushes at the same time for good measure

I just did all new shocks all round, brand new strut tops, new sway bar link rods, and i have a weird squeaky noise that sounds like it’s coming from the passenger door (could be elsewhere but that’s what it sounds like) when i go around a corner that’s a little bumpy. It’s really annoying and not sure if it was there previously, as the car wasn’t running when i bought it.

I’m probably going to try the swaybar bushes next

Based on your description I'd be looking at sway bar bushes and link pins. Strut tops have the weight of the car on top of them, they don't tend to fail this way
