is the front end meant to be 5cm lower then the back end on vy ute had the k frame replaced ever since the suspension is much bouncier the mechanic closed the shop up and had a mate with him that came down the road from tyre shop i think the main mechanic was on holiday his young offsider did the job ...suspect they fobbed off there lowered strutts on me and took mine

Sounds about right but you can only guess.
Do you know if you need to remove the shocks to replace k frame noticed the nuts up the top on the toweres have recent burs on them

The struts would be removed either from the top, or the two bolts at the bottom.

It's possible, they dropped the engine and gearbox and k-frame out and swapped the k-frame that way.

Its definately different i remember trying to push the front end down before and it barely budged like the back now you can push it down a couple of inches

It's possible they swapped the whole assembly with brakes, struts and all?

You had the cracked K-Frame yeah?
Then the one that went on had damage (from a tow hook possibly?) as well?

You checked your engine number?

Could they do that in 3 hours though im wracking my mind but i have a dim memory of that other dude walking in with a couple stuts springs on they wouldnt take long to replace

Struts can be replaced in a blink of an eye with the right tools.
3hrs, they didn't drop the running gear then.

maybe they had a wreck out the back and swapped kframe including the struts, and your old struts are out the back still on the old broken kframe

how did u work out your kframe was cracked :)

how did u work out your kframe was cracked :)
Pit inspecter told me actualy is a tear but judging by thr left over metal looks like started as a crack
