Hi all,
I'm under the impression that the "front bushes" need to be replaced roughly ever 60,000km's. I've got a VXII ecotech with 125,000km's on the clock... and they need to be done again.
Originally I had it done at Holden during my regular service, and it cost me $120. I'd like to know if it can be done cheaper than that - and can I buy the parts myself.
Basically I need front struts as well, so I'm hoping to pick up some surlus GMH ones off Ebay, as well as these "rubber bush" things... and get a local mechanic to fit them all at the same time to save some cash.
(My local K-Mart mechanic quoted $400 to replace the front struts - hence my search on Ebay, and a better local mechanic!)
What do people recommend?
