VE SS Commodore
hi new to the forum, I have a 2006 VE SS, I’m in SA. Just serviced the SS at Holden and the report said my front strut mounts are worn.
My question is, do Holden use the urethane bushing or the rubber?
I prefer rubber myself.
Thanks
Mark

+1 for Superpro.
If you don't like urethane, they make an OEM replacement using polylast.
Feels like rubber, but more durable than factory.

Got Polyelast in the daily wagon. Can't tell the difference between it and rubber.

What do you think about them versus OEM?
I have the polylast in the Redline, locates the top of the struts much more firmly than the OEM rubber junk, but doesn't increase the NVH in the cabin.
I have the urethane versions in the Maloo, NVH increased slightly, but improved the steering 'precision'.
When the Magnums are up for replacement, the urethanes will be fitted.

I think the OEM product is well suited for re-using in the manufacture of tennis balls, tyres, squash balls, condoms and Toyota Yaris engine mounts; if you are to compare them with the Super Pro product.

Wouldn't want my condoms to split like the oem mounts.
Then again, the thought of reused rubber in my rubbers is a bit unpleasant.
