Front wiper arc

The passanger side wiper on my VT finishes its arc just above my tacho ie. right in front of my vision. As it finishes here it leaves a pile of water till the drivers side wiper clears it away. This has become quite annoying (petty you may say, but I do a lot of night freeway driving and theres been s#it loads of rain lately) Is there a way to control the length, arc, distance, whatever it is called, of individual wipers? So I can stop the passangers side wiper before it comes too far across?
