Hey guys im so frustrated i read threads that dont help me at all with my issue and people say its been said and done all the time but i cant find it so i decided to make my own I need help with light bulbs For the rear center brake light and the Auto shifter light bulb as in the [PRND123] Light i got told that the rear bulb was T10 But then i got told that the shifter bulb was T10 but when i have them next to each other they are no where near the same size. I plugged a spare light bulb i had that looked like the one from the shifter into the brake light one to see if they both worked with the same socket .. it fit fine .. but as soon as i pressed the brake light to light it up it burnt out .. so they are not both T10 They are both wedge though. Please Help
T10 is the globe base size. The shifter one would be 2 or 5 watt. The high level brake light is 18 watt or something like that, hence why the bulb is bigger.
The shifter one is definatley a t10 wedge, but im unsure about the high mount stop light. Is it in a sedan, b/c i can pull mine out and have a look tomorrow for you if you like? Cheers Luke
T10 wedge for the shifter, Get a LED one, Look much better! And i beleve it's a T15 wedge for rear shelf brake light. Same as in you're other thread....
alright thanks guys i bought 2 T10 Leds from ebay for 1 buck including post so yea ill see how that goes .. i think they will fit the shifter one shot sure about the brake light
Hey its a T15 wedge - see vxcommodore post above. PN on mine is fron Narva and is 12V12CP +1 for the LED T10 bulb as vxcommodore suggested - looks much better. Cheers
