Hi all,

I recently switched from a 4cyl 1.3 to a 07 VE V6, and am crying every time I fill up.

Anyway, I wanted to know what is most economical, both for the car and km/l, in terms of E10, Unleaded91, 95 and 98.

Give us open road or city riving stats.

My VE likes fuel.

If you've got a V6, then dont cry. It could be worse.

I get 13.5 or something like that around town per 100km and i use 98 octane.

Can get to canberra-sydney-canberra on one tank on the freeways.

I get about 500-650kms from a full tank around town and it's less than $100 on 98. Would last me 2-3 months.

Stay away from E10 & 91. They are crap quality and your VE will drink like a fish if you use them. That **** is for lawn mowers and garden equipment.

My mower and whipper snipper cant run on e10 lol...

This is the fuel consumption in my v6.. not being a economical driver either lol. Just got plugs changed and its already going down on fuel :)

Edit: Blue dotted line is fuel consumption.. seemed to go up when I got the exhaust.. I just like the sound of it :)

I have a 3.0. I use the RON 91, or E10, whatever's there when I pull up.
I got 873 km out of a tank, and had 2 litres left.
In my opinion, the more expensive fuel is a waste of money.
On my next trip, I might put a tankful of 95 or 98 through it, and see how it compares, and then I'll know for sure ...

If I wanted arse-hole responses, I would have gone to the pub instead.
Did you ever stop and think not everyone is well off as you are?

To those that did provide legit answers, I thank you.
It seems these cars weren't made for cramped CBD's like Sydney, rather the open country roads
