    Hi

Im a dummy when it comes to Maths so could someone intelligent work out my lpg consumption on my vx v6

Filled up on Saturday night filled the tank to the cutoff (still had some gas in there think its a 90 litre tank) took 53.88L @0.864 per litre costs $46.55

Drove to Sydney mostly freeway driving a bit around town in sydney and then back home again which equated to 410klms

I went to the service station after 410klms and refilled the gas tank this time it took

    44.63l@0.864 per litre cost $38.56.

    Thanks

    Thanks Drewie

I though it was good as well.... I will be going on a long distance trip soon but will be taking a trailer so im sure these figures will blow out. Anyway im happy with that as its a mixer/vapour setup (sprintgas system). On the higway to I was sitting between 100 -110 all the way :)

Ok so you want liters per hundred k you don't need an online calculator

You used 44.63L to do 410kms

    44.63L / 4.1 (hundred kms) = 10.9L/100k

I recently downloaded an app called road trip LE, I only got the free lite version, it's great for keeping tabs on my fuel use and automatically works out the L / 100km and $ / km for me.

FWIW I'm getting about 13L per 100km out of my 6L on vapor injected LPG, and that still havng a bit of fun along the way ;)

I've got an app on the ifail called vehical, it takes a few cars, all expenses (maintenance, mods, extras) fuel consumption, trip meter, the whole lot, I've got my old 253 Kingswood down to 18l/100km with 3sp auto. It also keeps track of fuel prices too, fantastic app, it's free and it's the full version. O highly recommend it for ifail, iPod, and iPad users.

It's easy to workout even for dummies like myself.

Fill the tank 1st click nearest $1, say it's a 75 litre tank. Reset trip 0. Drive it along say going 567km. Refill the tank, say it takes 58.21 litres 1 click nearest $1.

Now open calculator. Ad the litres filled first 58.21. Then divide that by km's travelled 567km. = 10.26l/100.
