You'll actually notice that after resetting your fuel consumption figures they'll be quite high for the next couple of weeks and then should drop, obviously depending on how you drive. I did the same to mine (by accident. I only wanted to reset the trip and it reset the avg fuel consumption too) and the next day it was showing avg consumption of 32L/100km. I nearly had a heart attack but gave it 2 weeks of normal driving and it's back down to about 14L/100km. I guess it takes a bit of driving for the computer to accurately work the averages out.

my 2007 VE SEDAN SV6 is bad on fuel, especially after i fitted a cold air induction kit. Maybe there is oil from the pod filter going onto the air flow sensor causing a incorrect signal to ECU. average 13.8-14.9L/100KM.

speed ranging 70-110Km/hr.

1) about to clean air flow sensor.
2) about to pour injector cleaner into fuel tank.
3) checking tyre pressures.
4) getting rid of extra weight.
5) being gentle on the throttle.

see how we go after these 5 things are adhered to.

Its called 'Road Trip', best app, really good - id recommend it.

Looks good indeed... 'cept it's an App for iPhone and I'm an Android. D'oh! Will have a look around to see if it's been ported to Android.

Number 5 is probably all you need :)

Its not uncommon to drive\ a bit harder all the time after fitting a mod without realising it.

I'm getting 16/100k getting a cai and tune done on Monday. The. O2 sensors are crap I recon. Maybe the sidi clogs them up so they can't get a proper reading. I might look into getting some aftermarket ones if the tune dosnt work.

Nothing wrong with the factory O2 sensors. Never had to replace any.

This is good to know. I can rule them out then. I'll just have to wait and see what it's like after the tune

The long term average for last 30,000 k's on my 07 V6 Berlina is about 10.3 That includes driving 40k a day in bad traffic, and a few holiday trips on the highway to QLD etc.
All standard with Ecopia tyres lol.
