Hi everyone.
I drive a VX SS, 6speed, MAFless tune, OTR and zorst.
In the last 24 hours I have noticed my fuel economy getting really good intermittently.
I have the 3 window display and the instant fuel Useage has been getting very low and jumping around a little.
For instance, instead of it usually reading 8.5lts per 100kms, it's reading like 5-6.
Then with no reason it's going back to around usual.
I haven't noticed any lack of performance, and there has been no pinging, seems to be running fine.
Would anyone like to have a stab as to what is going on?
Thanks in advance.

Tones.

Rooted sensors/computer?, If it's throwing up strange readings on consumption and you think it's out of the ordinary, just run a full tank and compare it to what you usually get?

Mafless tune follows a volumetric efficiency map in the program.Instant and average trip computer fuel consumption data is a refection of the volumetric efficiency map settings. In other words if it's jumping around it means your VE map isn't too smooth.I'd have a word with your tuner.

Yeah good idea.
That was my next move, I'll log some data and send it too him.
Just seems strange that its happening all of a sudden.
I got the tune back in March.

Could it be my TPS?
Anyone know how I can test it?
Thanks,
Tones.
