There are 2 ways to change the fuel filter, the Gregories way, and the way everybody else does it. Jack the RHR of the car, remove the wheel, undo the clamps at both ends of the filter, having something under the filter to catch the majority of the fuel would be advisable, pull the filter out of the hoses. Taking note of the flow direction on the new filter, installation is the reverse. You can remove the fuel pump fuse and start the car to depressurise the fuel system first but I never do, just a bit messy when the fuel squirts out of the line when it depressurises itself.

gdai mate, i dont have any pics, but i just changed myne about a week ago, i was in tha same boat as u, wasnt too sure thought it was hard, but it ended up bein piss easy
i did it in tha mornin after my car had been sittin in tha garage all night, so there was no fuel left in tha lines, then u jus unscrew tha clamps n wriggle it off, have an old cup nxt 2 ya cause abit of fuel will cum out of tha filter when it comes off but its piss easy to do

I added the wheel removal so you are not on your back with the chance of fuel running down your arms and you end up smelling like a petrol station, but easy enough either way.

Best is to buy a tool that releases the fuel filter connectors - about $12 or so from Repco - much less danger of damaging the fittings. You may need to trim 5mm or so from the tool - you will see when you try and use it. You should really depressurise the fuel lines - leaving overnight should achieve the same thing. I usually put the rear up on ramps to give additional clearance and working room. Wrap the fuel filter in old rags so that the fuel doesn't go everywhere when you release the fittings - petrol is very painful when it sprays on your face or gets in your eyes - stinks for hours too.
