Fuel filter

I recently just changed my fuel filter on my 2005 vz Ute and I am not sure if I actually put it in the right direction.
Could someone please help and tell me if I did put it in right. The one tube has a blue dot on it and the other has nothing on it. The “blue dot one” goes into the entry of the fuel filter and the one with nothing is at the exit. I assumed the blue dot meant that’s the fuel tank line.

What brand was the fuel filter? Most will have a direction arrow on them. You want the direction arrow pointing away from the tank.

But, since im assuming the car is running fine my bet is you did it right.

The brand is cooper fuel filter. But I am not sure if the line with the blue dot is the fuel tank line. The car does feel a bit different.

As long as you had the ridge part at the top of the filter body facing away from the tank you've got it right.

So the arrow is going from left to right
