Why would you spend a $1000 on injectors, when they can be reconditioned for $30 each thereabouts?

Is anyone on the forum reconditioning injectors? Not that I want any done, I just have questions in regard to doing them and the actual cost of doing it.
I guess you can only get them so 'clean' and leak proof with respect to 'o' rings but you can't actually renew the pintles or seats so is it a question of flow testing until you get injectors with an acceptable flow rate?

Got at least 4 sets of 0280-150-960 injectors that have probably never been cleaned and wondering if I need to buy a flow rate rig thingo lol

The1 does this I believe. The price used to around $30 an injector a few years ago.
