fuel issue vs clubby

    hey people i went to track day last week and my car was blowing black smoke its running rich can dat be the cause of it
    also i did 2 runs the 3rd run was sweet it stoped blowing black can this be the fuel im using

    at the time on track day i had vortex 98 in it?? would dat have any affect on this problem if so what fuel is the best

    i want the best for the clubby

    Have ya checked the coolant temp sensor, or oxy sensors

    first off do an error code check, go to the HOWTO section for that one, although I know bugger all about the V8's so maybe your ECU is different?

    in either case it could be as simple as a vacume hose has popped off.
