hey all, here's the deal.... my fuel light comes on and starts singing at me when the needle hits 1/4. the book tells me the light will come on when there's only 8 ltrs left in the tank. i'm pretty sure there should be more than 8 litres in a 1/4 of a tank! I get a missfire on idle, except on LPG. premium runs better but not much. fuel economy is lousy! Prevous owners told me that they ran out of fuel once and replaced fuel filter/pump? Are all these things conected? hope someone out there can help! :bang: thanks in advance
they are all over the place.ive seen my fuel light come on when the needle hits an 1/8th and other times its sittin on empty and still aint on.stupid holden fuel guages never ever been reliable runnign dual fuel is a comprimise.not really tuned correctly for either.maybe ur fuel filter needs doing and maybe ur using gas a lot and the injectors the fuel is drying up in them gumming them up.maybe run some injector cleaner thru the tank and drive it around on petrol for that whole tank without using the gas system
Could be fuel injectors need a good clean Poor performance and poor economy after 100,000 Km can be clogged injectors. Have you thought about cleaning them, or at least putting an injector cleaner in and going on a long run?
