Hey all.
Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there's a commercially available tool, for disconnecting
the fuel line connectors in the engine bay, or can it done by hand (5 litre VT)?

Ta very muchly.....:)

Cheers.....
Thanks for that link.

Having never disconnected them before,
is there any special technique for disconnecting them using the above tool (apart from depressurising the fuel system),
or is it a pretty straight forward procedure?

I just use one of these cut to size and split down the side. Screw paying 20 bucks for a bit of plastic especially if it's not something you'd be using regularly.

i have read best way to depressurise is to pull the fuse for the fuel pump while the motor is running and it will stall...

here is a video of the tool in action ...

To get it off push the tool inside the connector pull connector forward and then backwards.

Cool.....Thanks for that.
I'm replacing the spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor button on the weekend
and due to the modded intake manifold, I have to move numerous components out of the way,
just to access the distributor.
