Yeah I noticed some wacky prices in NZ last year. Toowoomba QLD - about 115.9c/l Iraq - about 5c/l Apparently it will jump to about 180 soon and stay there
I got 124.9 in my area it is shocking. John Howard said hew will drop the taxes off petrol when the GST comes in i am not going to be able to afford to drive soon. I also here that petrol will be up to 2.00 by end of year.:ranting:
Who's responsible for the prices? Does it depend on the servo or is there some governing body which says "NO you can't charge more than this".. just by the looks of it the owners of these places are getting used to charging the high prices, hoping we're getting used to paying it but I wonder, are they actually charging less than they should just to be competitive?.. Also.. are they like the movies, making their profits from snacks and drinks? (would seem like it lol)
Too much !!! I pay $1.53 a litre for premium unleaded where I live near Karratha Far North Western Australia in my VN Exec costs me $70 to fill the tank :bang: :w00t: :bang:
The fuel quality in my town is **** I want them to test it or something I went for a drive to Adelaide once in my vl got 11L per 100ks on premium on the way there and on the way back same fuel type same company got 9 per 100ks no wind both times same load same, style of driving yet huge difference think its one off it happened’s every time my friends my family go to different places and fill up always better fuel economy on the way home so something has to be up. As for price 1.33 for premium I filled both my cars cost me $120 dollars for the week its ok though I just don’t eat sometimes so I can go driving easy ill be anorexic soon and get even better fuel economy less weight. :bang:
On Friday Canb 129.9 unleaded, Goulburn 123.9 then today Goulburn between 123.9 and 132.9. 2 km between stations. Canb still 129.9 Diesel 132.5.
unleaded is sitting between $1.14 - $1.19 here at little ol sh*t hole casino lol.. petrol prices are crazy.. on the way to newcastle i saw $1.29 at some town near kempsey!!! id go to lpg but did u see that new model mitsubishi on the news about 2 months ago that blew up!!! i dont trust gas lol
$2.18 here in Horsham, West Sussex, UK - Cant wait to get to OZ where my fuel bill will be halved. Currently driving a daily commute of 200 miles return and fuelling 3 times a week (93 litre tank!!!!!!!)
melbourne.. prices are dropping. woo 91oc-$1.05 95oc-$1.13 98oc-$1.15 i reckon if you scrap all the crappy fuel and just have premium then premium prices would drop to an average... but noo they have to have 3 different types.
Nearly breaking the $1.00 a litre again. Noticed ULP at $1.019 on the way to work this morning. Contrary to the doomsayers, we might get back below $1 per litre in the coming months.
Fuel will never go below $1 a litre again, the reason for the huge rpice hikes was so that consumers could get used to higher fuel costs thus thinking $1 is great
