2 questions, 1st is, when i turn corners, my car loses power, straightens up, is gutless and slowly speeds up, could this be a sign of a dying fuel pump?
    And
2nd question is can anyone direct me to a thread or give a detailed how to replace if it is dying. Cheers.

I would say its more a swirl pot/return line issue than a pump issue.

Mine did the same thing last time I was at the track, going into a right hand corner at 100+ with less than 3/4 of a tank and the car stalled.

turns out my swirl pot inside the tank is broken, its a pretty common issue.....easiest way to fix is to just get a second hand fuel tank and swap over, it is repairable but you need very small hands

Probably not the pump dying but the fuel return line not directing the return fuel flow into the swirl pot which the fuel pump sits in. This will be most evident when fuel is under 1/3 tank.
See the "how-to" section on replacing the pump. Brett cut open a fuel tank some time ago and posted pictures of where the swirl pot is and how the hose connects to it.
The problem could also be caused by a tankload of crap blocking pickup when you go round corners, but more likely it's the fuel return hose busted.

Mine does this under 1/2 of a tank, starts to stall below that. Fuel pump is brand new, it started when we installed it (So what the other guys said, we probably stuffed the return line/swirl pot)
