Hi there
Anyone come across the problem of petrol bowser cutting off when refilling?
I’m constantly getting to the petrol station dreading the line behind me coz it’s sooooo slow on refuelling. Ugh!
I find that I’m drizzling in fuel instead of normal fast flow from the bowser.
Any fixes anyone can recommend would be grouse
Thanks in advance

A lot depends on the bowser, you will find some places are better than others. If the bowser is fairly old it won't be as sensitive. I find Woolworths about the worst of all places.

Check the fuel filler neck breather pipe and hose to your fuel tank for kinks or blockages. if that is ok then,

Someones probably dropped a jiggler syphon head down your filler neck. Or dropped something down the filler neck. To check it you're going to have to remove the filler hose off the fuel tank and see what's stopping the fuel going into the tank.

Mine does the same it takes me 15mins to fill the last 15-17L. I have NFI how to fix it I just put up with it now, since replacing the breather pipes. I have found that the local Caltex I can fill it right to the top of the neck in under 5mins with it hardly clicking off. Yet Woolworths takes me forever. Only issue with my local is I can't get 95 only 91.

I’ve checked YouTube (our great saviour hahaha) and found this from a guy in the US
he talks about the charcoal canister being stuffed.

Is it the Evaporative Emissions Control System?
(see Gregory’s No 04273)

also something about Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve which means the fuel system pressure needs to be relieved first

Yes this could also be your problem.
