Hi all,
Forgive my ignorance as I know very little about Commodores. I have 2002 VY executive 6cl. I read everywhere it’s got a 75 litre tank or there abouts. I know my gauge is off because it gets down to the 1/2 way mark and any lower it starts to do funny things and won’t accelerate and basically crawls along. Seems to me it’s empty or close to it and hen the needles goes slightly past this mark. If this happens before I find my closest servo & fill up to the top, I fill up no more than 43 litres which in my limited knowledge about this car doesn’t add up even when I take into consideration posts on here mentioning the fuel pump need 8-10 to keep it cool etc. So please help as I have never had this issue in any other car I’ve owned and I used to have old Mini’s which were known to have many fuel, electrical and plenty other fun things occur.
Thank you for your help and time.
