If anything a bigger cam will be worse off the line...... they come into their own at higher RPM.

Mid to bigger cams may really come into play higher in the rev range but they also make improvements low down compared to stock.

Got the left bimodal valve fixed guys and now its all good. Fairly quiet when cruising but nice and loud when you boot it.
Ive noticed that you do lose some of that nice note definition with the bimodals tho even when opened.
Either way happy with the performance gains and contemplating next modifications.
Im thinking about a small cam but i want the car to have perfect manners such as smooth idle, no loss in bottom end torque and no surging. Not sure if possible with a small cam and standard stall.
Hang on? Youre first post was about the exhaust being to loud and now your talking camshafts? If your after a cam, your going to get more noise.
Also if you want to try the exhaust open all the time, pull the fuse in the boot and your exhaust will stay open rather then closing until 3500 revs.

i hate that the bimodals dont fully open even when selected.
